Q: How many people can be served in an hour?
A: We estimate that we can serve approximately 40 - 50 guests an hour. This allows everyone to have a good time and enjoy multiple flavors.
Q: How many flavors are offered at a birthday party?
A: We offer 28 different flavors, see our homepage for a list. We are constantly adding and updating our flavors, not to mention our occasional specials like Frog in a Blender.
Q: Are there toppings available?
A: Yes, we serve a variety of toppings at our special events and locations. It's always fun to mix up your favorite flavor with a little something extra.

Q: Is there really a difference between shaved ice and sno cones?
A: Absolutely! To be brief shaved ice is smooth and melts in your mouth. Sno cones are crunchy and have to be chewed. For more examples take a look at our homepage.
Q: What is kettle corn?
A: Kettle corn is a sweet & salty popcorn. It is not quite caramel corn, which is more of a candied popcorn, but it's sweeter than a plain salted or buttered popcorn. Come by one of our events to have a taste.
Q: Is your kettle corn pre-popped?
A: No, we pop are Kettle Corn fresh on site. We never start popping more than an hour before an event to assure that your popcorn is fresh and warm.
Q: Can you supply pre-popped bags for my event?
A: We would be more than happy to provide fresh pre-popped bags for any event. Simply give us a call, let us know the date and the number of bags you would like and we will pop them the day before or the day of depending on what time you need the bags.
Q: How long does a bag of kettle corn last?
A: The shelf life of kettle corn is 7-10 days.
Q: I'm on a tight budget, how can I have a party and not spend too much?
A: We can work with anyone’s budget no matter how big or small. Give us a call and we can put together the perfect party package that fits both your budget and your needs.
Q: How long can I rent equipment for (i.e. heaters, chairs, tables, etc.)?
A: We can rent out those types of items for 24 hours. If you need them longer we can accommodate that too, just give us a call.
Q: How can I pay?
A: You can pay your deposit using your debit or credit card. Your balance can be paid in cash, debit, or credit card. If you are a company, church, school, or other organization please contact us for information on your payment options. No personal checks will be accepted.
Q: Which credit cards do you accept?
A: Desert Snow Shaved Ice accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Q: Do you charge for delivery?
A: We deliver to the greater Phoenix area for free. This includes Anthem, Avondale, Black Canyon City, Carefree, Cave Creek, Chandler, Desert Hills, El Mirage, Flagstaff, Florence, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Glendale, Goodyear, Laveen, Litchfield Park, Mesa, New River, Paradise Valley, Payson, Peoria, Phoenix, Prescott, Scottsdale, Stetson Hills, Sun City, Surprise, Tempe, Tolleson, Verrado, Vistancia, Westwing, and Youngtown. Please contact us for deliveries outside of the Phoenix area.
Q: Can you setup in Parks?
A: Yes, Park permits are needed. Click here for more information
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes! We will provide a copy of the insurance policy upon request. Municipalities, schools, churches, and other venues may contact us in advance to make the proper arrangements. The lessee or using party shall be in charge of operation after receiving each unit. We are not responsible for any injuries occurring to lessee or to any persons using the leased units or equipment or to any damage to personal property.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: 15 days prior to your event the deposit is fully refunded, 15 to 2 days prior to your event you will be charged 50% of total; 2 days prior or the day of, you will be charged full price.
